The City of Sundbyberg, Sweden
The city of Sundbyberg, Sweden, has a permanent exhibition of Helga Henschen's work. There are about a dozen sculptures, and several paintings, in the Town Hall. www.sundbyberg.se
From March to May 2003 there was a retrospective exhibition about Helga's life and work at the Södertälje Art Museum in Sweden. More than 4000 people visited. In June 2004 a tree was planted in the Duvbo Park, Sundbyberg, Sweden, in honor of Helga.
The Helga Henschen Society had its first general meeting 8 March 2004. It already has about 120 members and is growing! Their plans are to renovate the Tensta underground station, to find a bigger permanent exhibition space for Helga's art in Sundbyberg, and to publish books by and about Helga. January 2006 - The Helga Henschen Society in Sweden is very active. There is exciting news from them every month. However, this will no longer be relayed regularly on this web site.
